CABTS courseware contest held

Co-organized by National Steering Committee on Agricultural Vocational Education and Teaching and CABTS, the final round of National ABTS Courseware Contest was held in Suzhou, Jiangsu from December 5 to 7, 2012.

 

The Contest aims at cross-the-board capacity building, pool backbone teachers and improve teaching performance so as to upholster the development of modern agriculture and new socialist countryside.

 

Since last June, contestants went through the first two rounds at the municipal and provincial levels. Only 54 teachers and their 60 coursewares were selected out of over 60,000 teachers across the country for the final round.

 

At last, Liu Wenfeng from Qianguo county of Jilin province and other nine people won the First Prize of Skilled Teachers, Zhang Ruihua from Weinan city of Shaanxi province and other 19 teachers won the Second Prize, while Huang Yurui of Fuzhou city of Fujian province and other 23 teachers won the Third Prize. The coursewares of Zhong Xiaoling from Liuzhou city of Guangxi and other 9 coursewares won the First Prize, Zhangyu of Shan county of Shandong province and other 19 coursewares won the Second Prize, Zhu Yumei from Xinjiang Production and Construciton Corps and other 19 coursewares won the Third Prize. 15 provincial ABTSs were awarded with Special Prize for their devoted participation in the Contest.

 

The Contest lasted for over five months, which provided a platform of teachers to be uplifted and evaluated, but also to learn things and exchange ideas. Such contest demonstrates the achievements and performance of our grassroots teachers. More and more highly-competent teachers popped up from the Contest, and the overall teaching level would be ushered into a new high.

 

Zhouqing, Deputy Director General of Department of Personnel and Labor, Xiang Qingyun, Deputy Director General of Department of Science, Technology and Education of MOA attended the final round upon invitation.
