The distance education has become an educational mode with its rapid development and is being followed with more and more attentions. Learning new experiences and lessons is one of conditions to improve the development of China rural distance education. This book collected 13 papers reflecting study outcome of open and distance education, ICT, strategies of distance education with different views and thinking by authors in practice in distance education and open learning in variety of national or regional contexts, which were translated into Chinese by the staff of CABTS. These papers both in Chinese and in English will contribute to managers, instructors and tutors of CABTS’ system a better understanding of the distance education and open learning in foreign countries.
